Graham Techler is a writer and performer living in Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Daily Eagle called him "one of Brooklyn's best young comedic minds," and The New York Sun admitted he was a "deft satirist" within the context of a largely negative review. He regularly contributes writing to McSweeney's Internet Tendency and The New Yorker — including "Our Upcoming Theatrical Season" and "The Time Has Come for Hollywood CEOs to Strike." His plays include The Panic of '29 (59E59), Lane Gaullson's Revenge (The Brick), The Tycoons! (Teatro SEA), Trust Fund (Finalist; O'Neill), and Helsinki (NAMT, Semifinalist; O'Neill, American Music Theatre Project). He's a member/resident with EST/Youngblood, Colt Coeur, the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, Less Than Rent, and the Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project. He does characters monthly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, writes for the musical variety show Stage Time with PJ Adzima (The Slipper Room), and has performed at Union Hall, Club Cumming, Caveat, and the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. He's appeared on Our Cartoon President (Showtime), Tooning Out the News (Paramount+), and Fairview (Comedy Central). E-mail him at graham.techler@gmail.com.
